  4. Goals of the Fair

①    The student is able to name the Korean historical eras

②    The student is able to know and compare the important historical event or cultural relics from each era

③    The student is able to make a timeline and his/her own history book

④    The student is able to apply the knowledge in his/her life

  1. Target age: 5th grade and above
  2. Volunteer: 8th grader and above (First-come, first-served basis,  Echo-Korea can give volunteer hours to volunteer students.)
  3. Fee: $20 (both regular students and volunteers)

①    4:00-4:10pm Registration

②    4:10-4:25pm Power Point Presentation

③    4:25-5:25pm Student Activity I

④    5:30-6:00pm Student Activity II

  • The GoguryeoKingdom: Appreciate and draw a tomb mural depicting a hunting scene
  • The SillaKingdom: Learn Five Commandments of Hwarang-Do and write it using Korean calligraphy
  • The BaekjeKingdom: Learn about the Gilt-bronze Incense Burner of Baekje
  • Goryeo Dynasty: Learn about the world's first metal movable type and make his/her own My-History-Book
  • Joseon Dynasty: Make a Geobukseon (Turtle Ship) model
  • Republic of Korea: Make Dokdo Island Model with clay and place Taegeukgi on it
